French fighters win four out of five trophies

French fighters dominated the assaut fights at the International Gala in Yaoundé, Cameroon, on April 26th. Assaut fighters aim to show mastery of technique, with KOs being forbidden.
Anissa Meksen, 19 years, gave the first victory to France, winning by "majority of the points of the three judges". The event was a celebration, with many personalities present, including Michel Tchoya, representing the Superior Counsel of Sport in Africa, and Gilles Le Duigou, President of the International Savate Federation.
