The two explorative missions of 2005 and 2007 reached a conclusion in May 2008: Yaoundé will be the headquarters of the African Confederation of Savate.
The choice of Cameroon to host the A.C.S. headquarters is not down to chance. For several years, the former champion Emmanuel Essissima has patiently and efficiently worked for the development of Savate in Cameroon. He has, amongst other things, set up the Savate Federation of Cameroon, for which he has been an effective President. It is also not by chance that his vice-president, Ali Adji, has agreed to take the reins of the African Confederation of Savate.
